Good PTLT meeting ably led by Chris with support from Viv. To be honest I struggled with the session led by Niki around the strategic plan goal setting, Good group of activists though and great dialogue well done all.

Timesheets
I hope all teachers have sent their timesheets in to the Minister of Education. I know it is a busy time of year for us all and filling out a timesheet is just one more thing to do.......BUT these timesheets are one way we can show the Ministry that they need to value the work that teachers do in their own time to help our students achieve success at school.

Secondary Teachers voting on industrial action
Our secondary colleagues in Hawkes Bay met today to discuss what action to take about the break down in negotiations with the Ministry of Education. It will be interesting to see the result.

Cluster meetings
It has been great to attend some cluster meetings and meet a range of such passionate Primary Teachers who really care about the work the Negotiations Team is doing on their behalf. As a member of the team I am looking forward to hearing what the members think of the Ministry's offer - in particular the pay offer and the Ministry's claims about units.
