Isn't it interesting that we can't get the government to offer us even 2% when the Secretary of education has gained a 4% increase. I guess this exemplifies the governments attitude to the workers.
We have a world class education system because of us the wonderfully dedicated, knowledgeable teachers. We need to get the message across that this stystem is under threat. Please do all you can to encourage the staff in your schools and centres and your communities to attend the Saturday Rallies in your areas on Saturday 20 October. These are about celebrating, valuing and protecting the system. They will be loadds of fun. There will be lots of families and children from early childhood there. So come on. Get a car load together and come. See you there
